Lizzie's Blender Hollandaise

"My late MIL had a recipe for everything! This is her never-fail-to-impress quick and easy hollandaise. This can be made in advance, kept in a jar in the refrigerator then reheated in a double boiler over hot, not boiling water. It can also be used as the base for Bearnaise."

  • Bring the egg yolks close to room temperature. You don't want to use them when they're very cold.
  • Beat the egg yolks in the blender until frothy.
  • Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
  • Serve hot.
