  • Melt butter in a large skillet. Saute garlic.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and saute over medium high heat until mushrooms are brown and liquid is mostly evaporated. May require additional butter.
  • Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add milk, parsley, salt and pepper.
  • Stir and cook for about 5 minutes or until it begins to thicken.
  • Add lemon juice and stir.
  • Add butter as needed. flour and butter will cause the sauce to thicken.
