Lemon Pear Pie

- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 3 (15 ounce) cans pear halves, drained and cubed
- 1 unbaked pastry shell (9-inches)
directions
- In a saucepan, combine the first five ingredients. Cook and stir over low heat for 10 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat; fold in pears. Pour into pastry shell.
- Bake at 350F for 50-55 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly. Cool on wire rack for 1 hour. Store pie in refrigerator.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
