Lemon Grass Sauce

"I use this sauce in a Singaporean-inspired "Grilled Beef in Grape Leaf" from chef/owner Chris Yeo of Straits Restarurant. I orginally acquired this recipe from Wine Enthusiast Magazine."

• Serves: 4-6

ingredients

• 1 ounce lemongrass, chopped
• 10 mint leaves
• 15 cilantro leaves
• 2 ounces garlic
• 4 ounces red fresno bell peppers, seeded
• 1⁄4 cup fish sauce
• 1⁄4 cup corn syrup
• 3⁄4 cup lime juice
• 1⁄2 cup distilled vinegar
• 1 cup granulated sugar

directions

1. Combine all of the lemongrass sauce ingredients into a blender. Puree the ingredients until the garlic and lemongrass are finely chopped.
