- 14 1⁄2 ounces diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 garlic cloves, sliced
- bell pepper, sliced
- 2 jalapenos, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1⁄2 lbs flank steaks or 1 1/2 lbs beef brisket
directions
- Add all ingredients to slow cooker. Cook 6 hours on high. Add can beef broth after 4 hours.

I live in Texas and started cooking in 2005 when I was diagnosed with coronary heart failure. I have to eat a very low sodium and low fat diet so commercially prepared foods are mostly off limits.
