This was so fast and easy to make; the first time I have made popcorn on the stove too!! It had a great salty/sweet flavor and was a perfect afternoon snack. Made for 2011 Best of Cookbook Tag.

This is a great way to cook it. It was my first time doing it in a pan. DH didn't like it sweet. So next time we'll omit the sugar. And add more butter at the end. Thanks MsSally :) Made for I recommend tag game

Yummy! We loved this version of kettle corn. It was so easy. It's acutally a healthier kettle corn recipe than most. It has great flavor...slightly sweet and oh so good. Thank you!

Very good instructions and easy to follow. I've never had kettle corn so I wasn't sure what was suppose to taste like.Made it in a cast iron pot and I put the popcorn and the sugar at the same time, like it says to do. My sugar burnt and I got sort of a caramel popcorn. I don't know what I did wrong,it's my second time trying with the same result. Taste was ok,but as I never had kettle corn before can't compare it to anything.I used butter&oil. Might try it again(third time's a charm).

Very good with just a touch of sweetness. DD loves kettle corn and now we don't have to buy this expensive packs of MW popcorn nor do we get all the junk that is in them! Thanks for posting this MsSally! Made for Zaar Stars.

Don't think I've ever had kettle corn, so I have nothing to compare this with! That said, this recipe makes a very nice tasting version of good ol' popcorn! I used unsalted butter instead of margarine! And, I'm probably overly concerned about the burning, but I was shaking the pan every few 'moments' rather than every few 'minutes' (moments, for me, being VERY SHORT!) Anyway, one monthly group I host LOVED this stuff & insisted on 7 stars, but I could only find 5! Thanks for sharing! [Unofficially tagged, made & reviewed in Potluck Tag]
