Jude's Barbecue Meatballs

"My mother's recipe. These are delicious and easy to keep in a crock pot for parties. There is no bread in these meatballs and a delicious sauce from scratch."

ingredients

• 1 lb hamburger
• 1⁄4 teaspoon liquid smoke
• 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 1 cup ketchup
• 1⁄3 cup water
• 1⁄4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
• 1⁄16 teaspoon liquid smoke
• 1⁄8 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1⁄8 teaspoon celery salt
• 1⁄4 teaspoon parsley

directions

1. In a bowl, mix hamburger, 1/4 tsp liquid smoke, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp salt and chopped onion together. Shape into small balls and brown in a skillet.
2. In a saucepan combine the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Add in meatballs and heat through.
3. Meatballs can be kept warm in a crock pot or fondue pot.
