• Ingredients: 4
• Yields: 1 Irish Margarita
• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 1⁄2 ounce creme de menthe
• 2 ounces tequila
• 1⁄2 ounce triple sec
• 2 ounces prepared sweet-and-sour mix

directions

1. Combine creme de menthe, tequila, and Triple Sec in a shaker and shake.
2. Pour into margarita glass with ice and top with Sweet and Sour.
3. Erin Go Bragh!

I made this for Cinco de Mayo, and it was very good! I was curious about the mint and margarita/lime combo, but it turned out to be something that my roommates and I really liked. Thanks for the twist on the traditional margarita!

What a different take on the margarita. I really wondered how the mint would go with the tequila, and, it goes together surprisingly well. Beautiful color! I used Jose Cuervo Margarita Mix and had to double the amount, this is quite potoent! LOL.
