  • 1 package vanilla wafer cookie
  • 12 cup irish cream
  • 14 cup milk chocolate
  • 1 cup coconut

  • Crush the vanilla wafers- a food processor is the fastest for this.
  • Melt the chocolate and add to the crushed wafers, along with the liqueur.
  • Roll into small balls and roll in coconut to coat.
  • Refrigerate to set, then pack in containers and keep refrigerated.

  1. These are great. I made several variations and put on a platter at the holiday buffet. You can coat them in cocoa, icing sugar, nuts, toffee bits or more vanilla wafer crumbs as well as coconut. I like to double this recipe and keep it handy during the holidays. Thanks for sharing! ~V
     
  2. I wasn't too sure what you meant by 1/4 C of milk chocolate - 1/4 C of shaved or what so I just used 2 ounces of chocolate. That seemed to work fine. They are a nice change of pace from bourbon balls.
