These were delicious and reminded me of macaroons flavored with lime. I doubled the recipe for a 9x13 pan, using the zest and juice of 3 largish limes, 1-7 oz package of coconut, 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk andd 1-12 oz. box of vanilla wafer crumbs. I'm posting these amounts just to avoid measuring anything. I still baked it for about 25 minutes in a dark metal pan.

I had fun with these only tricky part is the dough is a little hard to spread around in the pan but outside of that they're great. I don't know but for some strange reason next time I want to add walnuts and butterscotch chips to the mix and see what happens.Another thought was an adult brownie adding tequilla for a chewy margharita. The possiblilities seem to be endless!!! Thanks for a great recipe..can't stop eating them.

I made these last night and, though it was a simple recipe, working with it to put it in the pan was very difficult. The ingredients together formed a very thick and sticky glob. Once cooked, the brownie is very dense. I topped it with a Key Lime drizzle with just a little coconut for a gathering tonight. I'll see what the consensus is at that time. Taste was good, not great.
