  • Heat oven to 400 degrees and grease a 10 inch pie plate.
  • Cook sausage and onion until sausage is fully cooked; drain.
  • Mix sausage, potatoes and 1 cup cheddar cheese in pie plate.
  • Combine remaining ingredients except the 1/4 cup cheese and pour into pie plate with the sausage and potato mixture.
  • Bake about 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese and bake an additional 2 minutes or until cheese melts.

  1. One of my PAC picks Spring 2007 Basic contents barely fit in a 9-in pie pan so I transferred to a springform pan before adding the Bisquick topping. Glad I did, it puffed up high and as for taste, well, like you said, who doesn't like an impossible pie? Served it up this morning with fresh fruit. TFS this one Penny.

  4. Very good. I added franks hot sauce to the bisquick mixture and made some small pies for my husband to take to work for lunch. He liked them and they smelled awesome while cooking.
     
  5. 1. Easy to make 2. Inexpensive 3. YUMMY! The only bad thing I could say is that I was pacing the floor for the 40 minutes it was baking because I was so hungry! This will definitely be made again by me!! Thanks for the tip on the springform pan, that worked great!
