Honey Whole Wheat Banana Bread

ingredients
- 2 1⁄2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
- 3 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1⁄2 cup buttermilk
- 1 1⁄4 cups mashed bananas (2 or 3)
- 1⁄2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1⁄2 cup chopped dates
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 inch loaf pan.
- Mix all ingredients except for walnuts and dates. Fold these in after all other ingredients are combined. Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool slightly before removing from pan.

Hey! I bake mostly to satisfy my sweet tooth...desserts are my favorite thing to cook. I do cupcakes a lot, but also have experience with cakes, pies, ice cream, etc. Pasta is another one of my specialties. I also pride myself on baking on the healthy side (if that's really possible in sweet food) and I do everything from scratch!
