  • In small saucepan, combine butter, thyme, rosemary, oregano, and basil-heat until butter is melted.
  • Slice bread and generously brush with butter mixture.
  • Sprinkle with garlic, cheese, and parsley.
  • Bake at 425 degrees or broil until lightly browned.

  1. The only change I did is I used half the butter and 1/4 cup olive oil. Very good.
     
  2. This went real well along with spaghetti for a nice italian style dinner.
     
  3. OMG this was AMAZING!!!! Rather than spinkling with garlic after, I put the garlic in with the melted butter mixture. I preferred the bread without the parmesan cheese. I will definately be adding this to a permantent favourite! Thanks for sharing!
     
  4. This was quick and easy to do. It was good. I think the recipe would be clearer for others if it stated if the amounts shown were for fresh or dried herbs.
     
  5. Thank you for sharing this TGirl, RN! It was very good and went so well with our pizza lasagna. My only recommendation is that you cut the recipe in half if you are only making one loaf of bread. I put alot on each slice and still had almost half of it left. Otherwise, this worked perfectly and tasted delicious!
