Grilled Peanut Butter Sandwiches

- 2 slices bread
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened, 2 tablespoons margarine, softened or 3 tablespoons of goats butter, softened
directions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat until hot.
- Meanwhile, spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread and top it with the other slice of bread. Butter the outsides of the bread, both sides.
- Lay the sandwich on the hot skillet and let it brown until golden. Flip it over and cook the other side until it is also golden.
- Serve warm!

I've been making these for my daughter for years....she never did care for grilled cheese. The only difference is that we also add jam to the sandwich, and since I make several at a time, we use a cookie sheet in the oven. I like mine plain, but Joanna dips hers in chicken noodle soup before eating...weird !
