"Updating this recipe that was given to me by a friend when we were stationed at Carswell Air Force Base. The base closed several years ago, but I will never loose this recipe!"

  • Brown steak, pork, and onions in dutch oven.
  • Add all remaining ingredients. It may appear a little too soupy, but will thinken as it cooks.
  • Cook for 1 hour at low heat. This will make about 10 one cup servings.

  1. A Mexican lady that I used to work told me that she was going to bring me some Green Chile. When she heated some up for me, I thought to myself that it looked unappealing do to the color. But, when I tasted it, I loved it! That's the same thing I thought of when I saw this. I've never had better ever since then. The only difference is that she added some diced potatoes. I highly recommend this.
