  1. Great spice. I added a tsp of mint, and doubled the salt. Then ground it up in a spice mill. Rubbed it on Pork Tenderloin that I baked for 45 min at 375, and it was awesome!!!! Like my wife didn't speak over dinner because our mouths were full awesome.

  2. WOW....I made Greek Nachos tonight and needed a "greek seasoning". I searched 3 different sites and found this one. I had everything but marjoram. What a fantastic spice recipe!! My nachos were like...WHOO HOO! Everybody loved them, i used ground turkey as the meat and i'm thinking with this seasoning, i could some how make Gyros, without using "lamb". Thank you!!!!

  3. Cavender's Greek Seasoning but without all the nasty ingredients: MSG, beef bouillon, etc. I've been using your copycat recipe for a long time and am finally giving it the respect it deserves by reviewing it. The ingredients (except for thyme which we don't like) are whirled in a spice mill then transferred to a spice bottle. Thanks for posting!

  4. Nice blend of ingredients! This is good with green beans. I will try it on salmon next! Thanks Poppy!

  5. Great mix that I used for a chicken marinade that called for Greek seasoning. Look forward to trying it with other meats as well.

Tweaks

  1. I omitted the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and cornstarch. I try to season without salt. Other ingredients in the recipe I am making will provide enough salt, like canned diced tomatoes. I also prefer to use fresh onions and garlic. The result was delicious.

  2. Add 1 teaspoon dried mint
