  3. My husbands grandmother makes WONDERFUL mac and cheese. I've tried to recreate it numerous times even with her telling me what she puts in it but it just doesn't turn out as good, in my opinion. This is a great recipe for me to say, "I make great mac and cheese" and, hopefully, will have my grandkids saying it's the best one day. I did add 1/4 tsp fresh garlic to mine for extra flavor after reading previous reviews.

  4. Perfectly easy! I was so frustrated trying to find a simple basic mac n cheese - this fit the bill exactly. For Holiday dinners we needed mac n' cheese for the picky kids (and baby adults!) I used this - just jazzed up with some garlic, chili pepper and ginger for a little bit of a bolder flavor. Thanks for sharing this - I'll be using this for years to come!

  5. This was exactly the Mac & Cheese recipe that I wanted - I prepared it for a convalescing friend who is just getting back an appetite. For my taste buds it is very mild flavored and I would like to add some tomato & Jalapeno. I will still give it 4 stars because it is a good basic recipe

I love to cook! I learned at my grandmother's side. I prefer homegrown, homecooked comfort food.
