I grew up on German food because my step mom was German. I recently have reverted back to cooking the food I grew up on. This is one of my favorite, simple.

ingredients
- 1 cabbage, shredded
- 1 lb bacon, cut in thin strips fried crispy
- 1⁄2 onion, small chopped fine
- 3 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sugar
directions
- Shred the cabbage.
- Cut bacon into thin strips and fry until crispy.
- Chop onion until small.
- Mix all ingredients together and eat fresh (cold is best) enjoy!
