Fantastic meatloaf w/ glaze

ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs hamburger (beef, turkey or venison)
- 1⁄4 cup chopped onion
- 1⁄4 cup quick oats (oatmeal)
- 2 tablespoons cornmeal
- 1 cup Italian style breadcrumbs (or regular if you prefer)
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 cup tomato juice
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar

SAUCE
- 1⁄4 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
directions
- Mix all loaf ingredients thoroughly, and place into a 9x5" loaf pan.
- Mix glaze ingredients together.
- Spread over meatloaf.
- Bake@ 350 for 60 minutes covered w/ foil - then 30-45 minutes uncovered, until browned throughout.

I love a good meatloaf. Unfortunately, this recipe didn't do anything for me. The meat was nice and moist, but I would have preferred a more savory flavor, and the glaze was too sweet for my taste. If I were to make it again, I would add some salt, some Worcestershire sauce, and maybe a little yellow mustard to the meat, and I'd cut back on the brown sugar in the glaze.
