ingredients
- 2 lbs hamburger (or ground venison if you prefer)
- 5 slices bacon, cut in 1/4 inch wide pieces
- 3 (16 ounce) cans mixed vegetables, drained
- 1 (16 ounce) can green beans, drained (or any kind of vegetable you prefer)
- 2 (16 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (16 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 large onion, chopped
directions
- Place Mixed Vegetables, Green Beans, Tomato Sauce, Diced Tomatoes, and chopped onion in a large pot. Set to the side.
- Brown hamburger meat in a large skillet. Drain excess fat off. Then place in large pot along with all the vegetables.
- Slow cook the bacon until it is done, but not crisp or overly done. Scoop out of pan and place in pot with all other ingredients.
- Place pot on Medium heat and allow to cook, stirring often.
- Salt and pepper according to your taste.
- When the onion has became tender, you're soup is done!
