ingredients
- 1 tablespoon ghee or 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can crushed tomatoes (I like fire roasted)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- italian seasoning
- dried red pepper flakes
- 1 medium onion, roughly chopped
directions
- Add butter or ghee and olive oil to a saute pan.
- Add onions and saute until translucent.
- Add garlic and cook one minute.
- Add undrained can of crushed tomatoes.
- Add spices and sugar free sweetener (if needed).
- Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
