ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup warm milk
- 1⁄2 cup warm water
- 3 cups bread flour (can substitute part wheat flour)
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons active dry yeast
directions
- Follow directions for your bread machine.
- I take my bread out of the machine before the final rise, put it in a greased bread pan let it rise, and bake it at 350 degrees for 22 to 26 minutes or until browned.

I have been baking and cooking since I got married in 1969. I make all our own bread using my bread machine. I really enjoy this web site. I have four grown daughters and they all are good cooks too.
I also love to quilt,sew, knit, crochet and garden.

My husband and I are retired. We spend the winters in our motor home, between my brother's house in Green Valley, AZ, and Port Aransas, Texas, on Mustang Island. You can find us parked on the beach every day!
I love the Mexan food in Texas, and thanks to Javiar for teaching me his mother's recipes. I swear I will never warm a tortilla in the microwave.
