Easy Toblerone Squares

"I came up with this recipe while trying to make toffee squares. I started the crust, then realized I was missing the main ingredients for the topping. Luckily, leftover Halloween Toblerone bars saved the day. These squares are easy to make and will please the whole family!"

• Serves: 30

ingredients

• 3⁄4 cup butter
• 1⁄4 cup sugar
• 1 1⁄2 cups flour
• 1 (300 ml) can sweetened condensed milk
• 2 Toblerone chocolate bars (100g each)
• 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Butter a 13"x 9" pan.
3. Combine sugar and melted butter.
4. Add flour and mix with fingers until crumbly.
5. Add mixture to pan and press down firmly.
6. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.
7. Remove pan from heat.
8. Pour condensed milk on top of crust.
9. Add cut chocolate bar pieces on top of milk.
10. Sprinkle chocolate chips between the chocolate pieces.
11. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
12. Remove from heat.
13. With a knife, swirl melted chocolate on the surface to create a marble effect.
14. Let cool until set.
15. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
16. Cut into pieces before serving.
