Vegetable Stew(sambar)
- 1⁄2 cup lentils (thor dhal)
- 2 cups water
- 2 potatoes
- 1 -2 onion
- 2 -3 tomatoes
- 1⁄2 cup green beans
- 1⁄2 cup carrot
- 1 teaspoon herbs (curry leaf)
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons coriander powder, 1 tsp raw mango powder (amchoor)
- 1 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground fenugreek, 1/2 tsp asefoetida powder
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 cup water (to cover)
- 1 teaspoon tamarind pulp
- 2 tablespoons mustard seeds
- 2 chilies (dry red split)
- 1 teaspoon herbs (curry leaves)
- 2 tablespoons oil

FISH FRY
- 1 lb salmon
- 2 teaspoons ginger (grated)
- 4 -5 garlic cloves
- 1 serrano pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon oil

Rice
- 3 cups white rice
directions
- Fish fry : cut fish into desired pieces.
- Place all ingredients in the blender to make a paste.
- marinate the fish 15 min - overnight.
- place the marinated fish in the air fryer for 8min each side with 350 F.
- serve with red onions cut.
- Veg.Stew(Sambar): mix all the ingredients until water to cover in pressure cooker.
- cook on stove top until the whistle blows.
- turn off the burner and wait until the pressure knob goes down.
- Add tamarind pulp.
- In a separate pan fry mustard seeds.
- when it pops add red chilies and curry leaves.
- turn off the burner.
- add the above into the pressure cooker.
- mix well and serve with rice and fish fry.
