Easy Chicken Dish

"This looks like the Chicken a la King that I fixed for my family years ago but it has different ingredients. After I had eaten some of the seasoned rotisserie chicken from Costco and wanted to do something with the leftovers, I made this dish using ingredients I had on hand."

Reviews

  1. Loved those chicken ala king cans- like this more! It’s easy and versatile- you coul even put it over egg noodles if you have picky kids like I do. Thank you for posting this! Tastes great!!

Tweaks

  1. Have made without bell pepper when I didn’t have any- was still good- I always put more garlic in things than anyone I know so that is the only thing that differs a little. Have used this with a little bit of cut up egg noodles.

Mother of four grown children, my husband owned an Italian Restaurant for 35 years. When he came home, he wanted something else than the food he looked at all day. He loved casseroles. I received a Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book when I got married almost 40 years ago. It had the best recipes. Newer editions just don't cut it with me. Since my old cookbook is simply worn out, I turn to Recipezaar to find old and new favorites.
