- 1⁄2 head shredded lettuce, for serving
- 1⁄2 cup salsa, for serving
directions
- Preheat baking stones, if using, in 425 degree oven 20-30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in skillet, cook ground beef until almost cooked through. Stir in 1/8 cup water and the taco seasoning and cook 2 minutes more, or until beef is cooked through.
- Mix refried beans and salsa and set aside.
- Shape pizza crusts and place on sheets of parchment paper.
- Use pizza peel or edgeless cooky sheet to transfer pizzas to baking stones. Prebake the crust 5 minutes, then remove from oven. You can remove the parchment paper now.
- Spread bean mixture over prebaked pizza crusts.
- Spread a layer of meat.
- Spread a layer of cheeses.
- Crumble tortilla chips over cheese, to taste.
- Bake 8-10 minutes more, or until crust seems baked through.
- Serve topped with salsa and lettuce.
