- 10 bay leaves, coarsely ground
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 2 teaspoons ground cloves
- 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground mace
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ground cumin
directions
- Combine all the ingredients. Use as a dry rub for pork or game.
- I grind the bay leaves in a spice grinder. Or can be crushed in a mortar and pestle.
