"This is one of my Grandma's recipes. She always had one baked fresh when we came over to visit. It brings back fond memories of my childhood. It was always a family favorite of mine."

  1. This was a recipe my grandma used to make and I thought it was lost - I am so glad you posted it. It's easy and incredibly delicious and moist just like before. Thanks.

I live about an hour west from St. Louis out in the country. I love it here it's so peaceful and serene. I tend to spend most of my free time reading, watching movies or tv. I like to watch Food Network shows too, mostly Pioneer Woman, Trisha Yearwood, Ina Garten, and many others. I love cooking for family and friends. I'm always asked to bring a dish to a potluck or dinner. My specialty is baking and making desserts. Recently, I've been looking for recipes for homemade remedies and soaps, and also homemade gifts in a jar to give as presents. I've never tried doing anything like that and I think it would be fun and interesting to do.?
