Disney World's Strawberry Soup

Disney World's Strawberry Soup created by shelia108

I need to triple this recipe. How much of everything do I use?

Can you make this soup using fresh instead of frozen strawberries?

I have also made this with frozen " mixed" berries, and garnished with assorted fresh berries.....absolutely summer

As a former Disney employee ('74-'76) and working at the then Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village, I have the original recipe for the famous Lake Buena Vista Strawberry Soup - anything else is an imitation. Here's an original Disney Christmas present:

10 ozs frozen strawberries with juice
10 ozs sour cream
3 ozs lime juice
2 tsps salt
6 ozs powdered sugar
3 ozs Grenadine
4 ozs sweet cream

Mix all together on low speed and blend until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed (sour cream dissolved). Chill and serve with fresh strawberries. Chef's note: if not tart enough, add lime juice to taste. Yields 35 ozs.

Enjoy this true Disney treat!
