*Edited Review: I must edit to add that these were a huge hit at work, so I am raising the stars from a 2 to a 4. People at work said they were perfect. <br/>Original review: I made these today hoping to put them on a cookie tray that is going to work tomorrow. For them being called Devils Food I expected them to be much more chocolaty in flavor. The cookie itself is soft, but to this chocolate fiend it just lacks flavor. I looked up a similar recipe on another site to find out exactly how much 1 square of unsweetened chocolate would be, and it said 2 oz. I put in just over that and it still needed something. May instead of one square it should be 1 bar (4 oz)? The frosting is just so-so. Be sure to blend the butter and cream cheese before adding the powdered sugar and then vanilla. I added them all together because no directions were given and my vanilla is still clumped up on the bottom on the mixing bowl. Sorry, but I don't believe I'll be making these again. If you like a soft barely chocolate cookie with frosting, then these are for you. I guess I am just too die hard of a chocolate fanatic. Who knows...maybe after they set for a day they'll taste better. That happens some times. Made for New Kids on the Block tag game.

I love to try new recipes, and this is a wonderful site to find new additions. I rarely make the same thing twice because it's so much fun to try something different. My life long dream is to travel the world and eat my way around it.
