  • Saute onions, celery, and carrots in oil.
  • Add broth and bring to a boil.
  • Add the brown and wild rice. Simmer for 45 minutes.
  • Add the white rice. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Add the cooked chicken or turkey, sour cream, and cheddar cheese. Heat through, do not boil.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
