Creamy Beef Tater Tot Casserole

ingredients

• 1⁄2 medium onion
• 8 baby bella mushrooms, sliced
• 2 tablespoons butter, melted
• 8 ounces hamburger
• 10 ounces cream of chicken soup
• 1⁄2 cup sour cream
• 2 tablespoons milk (whatever kind you have on hand)
• 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
• 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
• 16 ounces frozen tater tots
• 3⁄4 cup plain potato chips, crushed
• 1⁄4 cup bacon bits

directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 and spray the bottom of a 7” x 11” casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
2. In a large skillet, melt butter.  Add onion and mushrooms.  Saute until mushrooms are golden.
3. Add hamburger and brown.
4. In a large bowl, add soup through seasoned salt. Mix until combined.
5. Add onion, mushroom, burger mixture.
6. Fold in tater tots.
7. Pour the mixture into the casserole dish.
8. Sprinkle the cheese, potato chips, and bacon bits over the top.
9. Bake for 45 minutes.
10. Serve hot.
