  1. I was getting ready to post this recipe and noticed that it was all ready here. I made these the first time last week for my DH to take to his air rifle league. All the wives asked for the recipe and my DH said all the men were complimenting how soft they were.

  2. These cookies were popular with the fruit lovers in the family. I found the texture turned out a bit weird. I will try them again, to see if there's something that I did wrong, and then update. Even with the texture problem other people really liked them.

  3. These cookies are the best, love them.

  4. Something about this recipe is not quite right. I had a terrible time incorporating all the flour into the dough. The dough was so stiff by that time, that I could not possibly have folded in the cranberries and white chocolate chips. So, I added a half teaspoon of vanilla and then by tablespoons milk until I'd put in 4 tablespoons (or a 1/4 cup) to loosen up the dough some. This seemed to do the trick, and I was able to stir in the add-ins and the cookies came out quite nicely. I also don't have a 1/8 teaspoon measuring tool. I added 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda.

  5. This was the recipe I've been searching for. These are very good cookies but not quite as soft as I had hoped. Also, I don't have a 1/8tsp measuring spoon. Is there one???? Or is that a typo? (I don't bake very often, so honestly I wouldn't know.)
