- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 quarts water, for boiling
- 2 teaspoons chicken soup base, for boiling
- 3 tbsn butter
- 1⁄4 cup flour
- salt and pepper
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons chicken soup base
- 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
directions
- Kneed Dumpling Dough Ingredients together.
- Boil 2 Qts of Water, add chicken base.
- Roll Dumpling dough out until 1/4 inch thick. Use a pizza cutter to slice it into 1"x1" squares.
- Drop dumpling squares into boiling liquid and cook until floating. Remove cooked dumplings and repeat until all cooked.
- To make sauce, melt the butter and add flour and milk. Stir out any chunks.
- Add salt pepper and soup base to sauce. allow time to thicken. cook on low.
- Dice up 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs. Cook in a frying pan at medium heat with a tablespoon of olive oil.
- Once chicken is cooked, remove and shred.
- Add chicken to a mixing bowl. Add dumplings, pour sauce over the top.
- Serve.
