DIRECTIONS

  • Mix in a 6 quart kettle the first 6 ingredients until it is well blended; add another cup of water and stir again.
  • Bring to a boil and make sure its a rolling boil for at least five minutes. Watch closely or it will boil over.
  • Add 1/4 cup vanilla.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Boil lids and rings.
  • Pour into sterile jars and seals.
  • Refrigerate after opening. Makes 5 pints.
