- 1 cup McCormick's Montreal Brand steak seasoning
- 1⁄4 cup onion powder
- 1⁄3 cup fresh-ground coffee
directions
- Mix all together.
- Rub on steaks, chicken, pork, or fish.
- Grill, fry, bake, or broil.
- Can be stored for up to 5 months in a shaker.

Amazing! This was by far one of the best tasting and easiest rubs! I gave it fours stars cuz I thought it needed a salty note. Could be personal preference but I thought the flavor was spot on just needed some salt. A good sprinkle of sea salt fixed it up perfectly! Thanks so much for posting my hubbys new fav steak rub!

fantastic!! i had 3 new york strips that i wanted to rub and leave in the fridge for a few days. i scaled the recipe down to 1 tablespoon montreal steak seasoning, 1 teaspoon onion powder and 1 teaspoon coffee grounds. i rubbed my steaks with a smidgen of soy sauce and olive oil and then rubbed all the seasoning on. let sit in the fridge for a few days. the flavor was awesome! everyone enjoyed these steaks, even the 2 year old! thanks, cindy!
