  1. I made this recipe for the " Winter Comfort Cafe 2010 " event. There were a few problems with the peanut butter layer part of this recipe.I used a generic peanut butter,so that could have been part of the problem. Then to get it to be able to spread I needed to add about 3 to 4 Tablespoons of milk. After reading Karamia's review I decided to add almost two teaspoons of sugar to the peanut butter mixture. But other than that, I stuck to the recipe. Both my SO and I thought " How can you go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter ? " And we were right, there was a very good taste to these brownies. Thanks for posting and, " Keep Smiling :) "

  2. I made these for my DH's air rifle league and he said they gobbled them right up. My DH did ask me add icing so I used chocolate icing. He loves icing on his brownies. I tasted a corner as I was cutting them and they were very good. Next time I think I might add some peanut butter chips to the peanut butter layer. It took mine about 40 minutes to bake. This is a nice and easy dessert with ingredients you would have on hand! Thanks Seasoned Cook. Made for Auz Swap #20.

  3. These were good brownies, but the peanut butter layer wasn't sweet enough for our tastes. It was rich but not sweet enough. So next time I think I'll add a little sugar to it. We used Skippy smooth peanut butter. Thank you for sharing this!
