Has anyone tried it with making marinara sauce or is it better with spegetti sauce?

Does the nutritional value include the cooked spaghetti or would that have to be figured separately?

Can I make this in the oven instead of a frying pan? When do I add the sauce and cheese? Thanks.

I made this tonight, I was in a hurry .. This is not merely "VERY good", it is EXCELLENT !! Easy and quick, my husband loved it .. he said it is as good as anything you might get in a restaurant .. I didn't have any pasta sauce, so I used tomato sauce, 1/2 tsp italian seasoning and 1/4 tsp garlic powder ... Thanks for a great recipe!!

Inez this was very good, I used my homemade sauce and it turned out just scrumptious!! This is very similar to my veal parmesan I make. I had to cook my chicken quite a bit longer only because they were too thick. We all enjoyed this recipe very much, I served it with garlic bread, and a ceasar salad. Thanks so much!!

Thanks for a great recipe Inez! You really get a lot of bang for your buck, so to speak, with this one. It takes almost no time to make and is just delicious. The only thing I did differently was after frying the chicken to "almost done" I layered it in the bottom of a large, flat casserole dish, poured on the sauce, topped with the cheese and popped into a 350º oven for 30 minutes. With a salad of mixed Italian greens and Texas toast, it was perfect!

I think this is as good as you'll find in any restaurant. I served mine over spaghetti.

This is sooo easy and really delicious. My teenage sons loved it and they are so fussy! I served it with fries and a tossed was just like a restaurant meal.

I went for a “healthy” take on the recipe. I air fried my chicken for 20 mins at 400 degrees and flipped it half way through. I also added sautéed diced onions and green pepper, tomato paste and diced tomatoes which were flavored (garlic, oregano and basil) to make a more robust/hearty sauce. Instead of sliced I used shredded mozzarella and let it broil to give the dish more flavor from the toasted cheese. I also used Ronzoni veggie spaghetti noodles instead of regular pasta. It was very yummy ??.

I would recommend dredging the chicken breasts in flour first, before the eggs and breadcrumbs to help the eggs actually stick to the chicken. The flour will stick to the chicken breasts, the eggs will stick to the flour, the breadcrumbs will stick to the eggs.

I sautéd fresh garlic onion and mushrooms and added it to my sauce and let the sauce simmer for a bit. Also i use plain bread crumbs and add my own italian seasoning to it a little more work but well worth it

My only concern was seasoning ?????? Don’t get me wrong it look delicious and I would love to make it but just to my likings (as in seasonings)

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
