Cherry Sour

- 1 cup maricchino cherries, with liquid
- 2⁄3 cup plain yogurt, strained
- sugar, to taste
directions
- To strain yogurt (not included in prep time): place in a sive on top of a deep bowl and keep in fridge about 8 hours (or overnight). Remove yogurt into a covered bowl or cup until needed.
- To make drink: Put cherries and their liquid into blender, add yogurt and blend till smooth. Taste and sweeten with sugar if need be. Pour into glasses, garnish with a cherry and serve.
- Note: you can change up the yogurt for different flavour combo's or you can add a couple drops of extract that compliment the cherry, like almond or lemon.

Why "SoupCookie"?
My cousin Ryan use to come to my house after school sometimes and was *always* hungry! So he used to make his version of chocolate chip cookies and I can't remember what he did or didn't do right but the cookies never failed to come out flat and doughy and gooey. We'd put them in a bowl with milk and eat it with a spoon.....sooooo good!
To this very day his recipe has not been deciphered ;)
