Cheddar Cheese Spritz Crackers

"Crowd-pleasing treat. A cookie press works best to make this appetizer, but you can also roll out the dough and just cut with cookie cutters."

  1. This didn't work for me at all. After preparing according to recipe the dough refused to release from my spritz cookie press. When I gave up on that method I tried to roll out and using a cookie cutter but even after refrigeration it just crumbled when I tried to transfer to a cookie sheet. This dough is too fragile and sticky to work well. It was a waste of my ingredients.

  2. I was looking for other sprtiz recipes I could use with my cookie press. This one looked interesting. They turned out very delicate. A touch too delicate for a craker. But they were light and tasted good. They would make a nice touch for a tea party. Pretty, dainty, delicate. Thank you for sharing.
