- 2 cups apples, unpeeled and chopped
- 2 tablespoons tangerine peel, grated
- 3 cups tangerines, peeled and segmented, seeded
- 2 tablespoons green bell peppers, chopped
- 5 cups cabbage, finely shredded
- 12 calendula flowers, washed and dried
- 1⁄3 cup sour cream
- 1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1⁄2 teaspoon mustard
- 1⁄2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground pepper
directions
- Combine apple, tangerine peel, tangerine segments and chopped green pepper with cabbage in a large bowl.
- Remove petals from flowers and add petals to the salad.
- Blend together remaining ingredients and pour over coleslaw.
- Toss lightly to mix well.
- Chill thoroughly.

After several floods to my basement, I am starting to input all of the many many recipes that I've been collecting for years. I didn't realize just how many I had saved up... must make note to self.. step away from the cookbooks!
