Butter Rich Pan Rolls

"These are just so yummy and cute too. I make these about once a week and store them in tupperware. They make excellent little sandwich rolls or allow us to always have fresh bread for meals. When I was little in Germany, my mom and her German friend used to make them without the luxury of a bread machine. The smell of fresh baked bread can't be beat!"

  1. Made these rolls yesterday for dinner. They are excellent! So easy too.I have tried dozens of roll recipes, this is one I will be making again and again! Thanks Laurita!

  2. I just made these for the Thanksgiving holiday and they are everything everyone has said. I had forgotten about using my dusty old bread machine and had been stressing about how to do home-made rolls while preparing the rest of the dinner. This worked perfectly - easy, stress-free and wonderful texture and flavor - so soft. My only mistake was not using enough butter spray in the muffin tins so they stuck a bit. I had way too much dough - so I used half and wrap the other in plastic wrap and tin foil, stuck it in the frig and then the next day took it out, brought it to room temp and then just followed the shaping instructions, etc. They turned out just as good. Thank you!

  3. Rather than use muffin cups I made 16 freeform shaped dinner rolls. The rolls are light, easy and delicious! I do not have an ABM so I used my stand mixer. My rolls took about 17 minutes as well. I will make these again thanks for sharing your recipe.

  4. These rolls are terrific! Very light and fluffy and so easy to make. I made dinner rolls, putting two balls of dough in each muffin cup. I baked for 17 minutes and they were perfect. Thanks for posting this recipe! Made for Fall PAC 2008

  5. Since trying this recipe I have made it many times. I make cloverleaf dinner rolls out of the dough and now they are requested at every family gathering. My kids can't get enough of them! TERRIFIC recipe.

I'm a Florida girl. I moved from Pensacola Beach to Gainesville in 2000. I enjoy photography, artistic interior design (including a lot of construction work--tile & remodel jobs--and I do the work), traveling, animals, cooking, and shopping. I've been a military brat for a good bit of my life so I've been to a lot of different places, and find something to love about every place. I have had many different careers - from bartender to restaurant manager to car sales to personal assistant for a millionaire selling his businesses. Still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up...or maybe that I never want to have to grow up! Actually, now I'm a Harley Davidson riding commercial property appraiser - and life is good!
