  • mix together sugar butter and eggs.
  • add cocoa flour vanilla an nuts.
  • bake at 350 for 20-30 minuetes.

  1. I find it really odd that these didn't quite work out for me. They were more like a snack cake than brownies, but I think I may know why. I think the instructions may need to be clarified for technique. I usually melt my butter for brownies but it did not specify that. I softened the butter to room temp and beat butter, sugar, and eggs together. I think that may have aerated it too much causing the cake like texture. The ingredients look spot on for brownies so I can only guess it was operator error (me) or the instructions. I used a 9x13 pan since the recipe didn't specify and in 20 minutes my final product was rather dry. I'm so sorry this didn't work out as brownies, but with frosting it will be a nice little snack cake. I may try these again sometime with melted butter and see if that makes a difference. *Made for Spring PAC 2009*
