- 1 cup frozen broccoli florets
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic-flavored olive oil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
- salt and pepper, to taste
directions
- Simmer broccoli, covered, in water for 3 to 4 minutes, or until broccoli is crisp-tender.
- Remove from heat and drain.
- While broccoli is cooking, stir together mustard, olive oil and vinegar.
- Stir in mustard sauce.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.

This is a nice side dish that is very easy to make. It doesn't have a lot of flavor, just a hint of dijon. I used fresh steamed broccoli and added garlic since I didn't have any garlic-flavored olive oil. Given the fact that I am always looking for simple and low fat things to do to broccoli I will likely make this again.
