- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 4 cups broccoli, chopped and steamed until tender-crisp
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed
- 1⁄4 cup julienned roasted red pepper
directions
- Heat oil over medium-high, then saute the broccoli, garlic and oregano until the garlic turns golden (about 3 minutes).
- Add the bell pepper, continue cooking about 2 more minutes stirring frequently.

<p>I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Have lived from Arkansas to Memphis to Maine to Minnesota to Texas to CA and now Illinois since I have been married. The cookbook I have used most during my 37 years of marriage is the Better Homes and Garden New Cook Book (red and white checkered.) I still get it out frequently and several of its recipes have become regulars in my house.</p>
