I followed the recipe exactly as written, adding one tablespoon of lemon juice instead of vinegar. When finished adding the ingredients, the water just sat on top of the batter, and after a half hour of no change, decided to put the uncooked cake in the oven. I googled a blueberry batter cake, found one with exactly the same ingredients, except the recipe called for the cake to be baked for one hour at 375 degrees. This I did, and it turned out to be an excellent cake. Lots of flavour, quite a bit of blueberry sauce and, all in all, a recipe that I'll make again...except I'll bake it. I can't give any stars because if I hadn't baked the batter, it wouldn't have turned out at all. On a positive note...thank you for the recipe. I love it!!
