Bisquick Pancakes (Aka Silver Dollars)

"I posted this recipe in memory of my Father who would cook Pancakes for us on Sunday mornings. He would make "Silver Dollars" for me saying "How many Silver Dollars do you think you can eat"? Sometimes the simplest pleasures are the best. Rest In Peace Dad."

  1. Doesn't get any easier - or better!

  2. in my opinion, the best pancakes ever. i've tried many recipes in order to find the perfect one and bisquick is right on. thanks for posting, now i can add it to my food.com cookbook and not have to search elsewhere for reference. i make my own bisquick so i don't have the box to refer to for the recipe :) thanks Bee :)

  3. I was looking for a pancake recipe to use with Recipe#145489. I added chocolate chips and some cinnamon and made these as full sized pancakes. My husband has the reputation as the best pancake maker in the house, but we really enjoyed these and I got a little bit of pancake maker respect back! :) Thanks for posting and for the family memory.

  4. Perfect! A family favorite for quite a while. I'm glad someone posted this quick and cheap breakfast idea!

  5. Added 1 cup of blueberries and it came out perfect. Make sure you save the juice if your using frozen for the blueberry syrup! Make sure to use your mixer to get the fruit inside the pancakes to mix in and give up that wonderful blueberry taste.
