directions

  • in a medium bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • In a large bowl whisk buttermilk, oil, vannila and eggs.
  • add flour mixture to buttermilk mixture, stirring untill just combined. Let mixture sit for 10 to 30 minutes.
  • toss blueberries in 2 teaspoons of flour and fold into batter.
  • preheat waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer directions for your waffle iron (my waffles iron say 5 and a half).

  1. Amazing! They dont get soggy when you put syrup on them and it still soaks in. The recipe works wonders with the frozen blueberries I had and my family devoured them! Super easy to make and makes enough to feed my entire family, twice!

Tweaks

  1. This aint a tweak but if yall dont have buttermilk you can always make some! Its just vinegar and milk- you would have to search up the proportions
