Being born in the south I grew up eating squirrel. My mom would make dish by soaking the squirrels in salt water, boiling the meat til done and then draining it,rolling in flour, salt and pepper and frying. Then she would make a gravy. This recipe sounds great. We will be trying it!

I can't help but giggle at the opinions on this page, seems you've angered alot of vegetarians. I happen to think this is delightful, the title made me giggle a bit, though. Anyway, getting over the fact of eating cute sweet creatures... Like no one hasn't eaten a burger before.. This is a good recipe for anyone who wants to get a little exotic... lets see what happens when someone puts up a kangaroo recipe.

A very good recipe, I made it as posted and was delighted. A good use for squirrels esp. right after opening day when you have that craving. Some of the best Squirrels I have ever eaten. You other "reviewers" need to concentrate on good food. Not personal opinions. This was quite good!

This is a joke, right? NO-ONE in their right mind eats squirrels.
