  1. I used raw prawns and pre-cooked the bacon in the micowave til pliable enough to wrap around the prawns. Threw them on some tin foil on the BBQ and when done brushed with BBQ sauce. Fabulous!!! First thing to go at the Happy Hour. Would rate this a 10 if I could!!

  2. I gave this 2 stars. This recipe had mixed reviews in my house. My 7 yr old niece would not even try this shrimp, my 6 yr old newphew would only eat the bacon, my future hubby said he would only give this recipe 2 stars as he didn't really like it, and myself I don't like shrimp but I want to so I decided to try this recipe. I loved the bbq sauce on the bacon but I still don't like shrimp. This was so easy to prepare. I used frozen shrimp that come 50 in a bag but I only made 12 as I only had a couple pieces of bacon. I wrapped my bacon and did not secure them so I just laid them in my pan so the open end was down. I did not dip my bacon wrapped shrimp I just coated them with sauce. Overall we won't have this recipe. Thanks for posting. Christine (internetnut)

  3. I accidently purchased cooked shrimp instead of raw shrimp. I had no idea what to do with them besides make a salad, so I search and found this recipe. It was great. My DS has been asking me to make it again...soon. Thanks for the recipe.

  5. Very good. I never would have thought that bbq sauce, bacon and shrimp would taste soo good. Very easy appy to make. I brushed the bbq sauce on the bacon wrapped shrimp. Lined the baking sheet with parchment paper, made clean up faster. I made two appys the other was scallops wrapped in bacon and I just had to brush them with bbq sauce as well. Both were very tasty. Thanks KelBel for a great recipe.
